Upland and UNICEF Brazil train youth blockchain and crypto

pioneers in the metaverse Unicef Brazil, a United Nations agency devoted to the protection of children, begins a long-term partnership with Upland, one of the first immersive Web3 ecosystems connected to the real world.

The Upland team has inked a long-term strategic relationship with UNICEF Brazil, a division of UNICEF in Latin America, according to an official announcement made by the firm.

The two teams will work together as part of this collaboration to create a unique educational program for Brazilians between the ages of 18 and 24 and young adults between the ages of 24 and 29.

A new generation of Brazilians will learn the basics of blockchain, cryptocurrencies, and Web3 through this effort. Between secondary education and the training provided by Web3 companies, it will act as a technical link.

The goal of the program and its possible impacts on the Web3 market in Latin America excite Idan Zuckerman, co-founder and co-CEO of Upland: ” In the past four years, we have seen thousands of stories of Upland users realizing financial success because of their web3 knowledge. In partnership with UNICEF, we’re excited to create an opportunity for Brazil’s youth to learn how to create the same opportunities for themselves through a multi-touch web3 experience showcasing fun, innovation, entrepreneurialism and community, as well as a real world academy to support them first hand.”

Upland will hold an NFT sale in its metaverse with UNICEF-branded goods to mark the start of the collaboration.

For its three million users, Upland will undertake a sale of non-fungible tokens (NFTs). Digital items with a special UNICEF and Christmas theme will be made accessible for Upland virtual domains.

Direct donations to UNICEF will be made from the sale’s revenues. They will support UNICEF educational programs around the world, among other charitable endeavors.

The designs created by the NFTs will be showcased at the UNICEF Showroom, an immersive metaverse arena that was specially created in Upland’s virtual world. Additionally, community events with a holiday theme will be required of its visitors.
