This week, a Chinese court ruled that NFTs should be deemed online virtual assets, which could signal a softening of China’s anti-crypto attitude. Cointelegraph said that according to Hangzhou Internet Court, an expert internet court, NFTs contain “commodity characteristics of property rights such as value, scarcity, controllability, and tradability.”

The matter was filed to court after a user of a technology platform (both anonymous) sued a corporation for canceling their NFT transactions because their identity and phone number did not match.

Moldowski designed the artwork to place 333 GIA-certified diamonds as NFTs on the Ethereum blockchain. The diamond, which ranges from 0.4 to 0.8 carats, will be available for 4.44 Ether to a select group of individuals.
