Portugal’s RealFevr has announced a €10 million funding round

RealFevr, one of Portugal’s fastest growing companies, has announced a €10 million funding round. The round is led by ADvantage, with Semapa Next, Shilling Capital Partners, APEX Capital, and professional footballer Sérgio Oliveira also participating.

The funding will accelerate RealFevr’s international expansion, acquisition of new intellectual property rights, and the launch of the world’s first Trading Moments Game: FEVR Battle Arena, which is set to be released in the coming weeks.

RealFevr has launched the world’s first soccer video NFT marketplace, announced IP partnerships with international sports properties such as Liga Portugal, the Portuguese Football Federation, Torino FC, and Beach Soccer Worldwide, and signed a number of world-class athletes as official ambassadors and investors since 2021.

Despite the recent decrease in the crypto market, RealFevr’s pack drops have remained in great demand due to its active global community. All NFT collection pack drops to date have sold out in less than 24 hours, with over 145,000 packs sold, making NFT the only football-related Web3 company to entirely deplete its product supply without altering supply levels.

The release of the first-ever Web3 Trading Moments Game is another step toward Web3’s goal of becoming an industry standard in Esports and Gaming. The game will employ normal TCG mechanics as well as its own groundbreaking and long-lasting tokenomics paradigm.

“Being at the forefront of innovation in such a competitive and highly technological market, we are determined to stay bold in one of the most transformative markets we’ve seen in our lifetime. Our team is proud and excited by the new products we’re building. And the most satisfying part is that now we have created the opportunity to scale up our structure explosively and we will definitely live up to the responsibility,” said Fred Antunes.

Furthermore, RealFevr seeks to address the speculative character of the sports digital collectibles business as a whole by giving true in-game usefulness for sports video moments for the first time.

“As global sports investors, we’ve seen our fair share of businesses developing products at the convergence of sports and Web3,” said Jeremy Pressman, partner at ADvantage Sports Tech Fund. “What immediately impressed me about the RealFevr team was not only their extensive domain expertise in the Web3 and blockchain domains, but also their commitment to and comprehension of what it takes to establish a community.” We can’t think of a better time to build something lasting in this business, and we’re thrilled to be working with a group that will move it ahead.”

Despite the current market conditions, RealFevr’s total brand engagement is strong; they have retained a large number of holders since IDO, and their digital analytics have been consistent across all of their marketing campaigns; and they have crossed the 1 million mark for the total number of smart-contract transactions registered on the BNB Chain, a milestone that propels the company to a dominant position on the blockchain of the largest cryptocurrency exchange in the world.

The daring goal of RealFevr is to become a new type of NFT platform with previously imagined capabilities by leveraging partnerships, blockchain technology, and gaming expertise.
