Triller goes metaverse. Metaverz, a virtual reality that lets fans watch live events together, was released by the entertainment platform on Monday.
The company says that fans could go to virtual concerts, clubs, and sports events with Metaverz. In the open space, fans can meet their favourite stars and influential people.
Triller CEO Mahi de Silva said, they are thrilled to launch the Metaverz and give creators around the world direct access. They are committed to making better products for their users, creators, and businesses, and entering the metaverse puts Triller at the forefront of several interesting trends, such as Web3 and decentralisation. The Metaverz network will change the way creator content is made, from NFT-backed artefacts and memorabilia to virtual concerts, games, and shopping.
Triller started the Metaverz just a few weeks after Global Emerging Markets, a private alternative investment group based in Luxembourg, put up to $310 million into its upcoming initial public offering.
Triller wants to use the platform to create a “new universe” and the “most advanced live event metaverse platform available today.

To celebrate the launch of the Metaverz and show what it can do, Triller will put on a live show by Dutch DJ and electronic artist Sam Feldt at the Amsterdam Dance Event on October 22. Feldt’s set will be streamed along with Triller’s Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship, Triller Fight Club, Verzuz, and others.
