The new partnership between TikTok and Audius will make streaming music on Web3 easier.
This is not the first time that the music streaming service and the popular video app have worked together. Audius also worked with TikTok in 2021.
When the two companies worked together before, users could upload their own music to Audius and have it added to the TikTok sound library. Because of this, the value of Audius’ native token (AUDIO) went up, bringing the market cap to more than $1 billion.
In comparison to the last one, this one enables new Audius users join up by linking their TikTok profiles to the Web3 music streaming platform.
This makes it easy for new Audius users to import their information and bring their TikTok verification status with them to the music platform. With the new TikTok integration, Audius users will also be able to share their songs in their TikTok videos.
With this, the new partnership between TikTok and Audius should help the Web3 music streaming platform reach more people.
“Anything that’s good for artists is good for the Audius community, and by letting artists import their verified status from TikTok, we think it’ll attract an even wider group of talent,” said Audius CPO Forrest Browning.
