Recently, a company that provides virtual communications solutions in the metaverse and a company that makes virtual reality (VR) technology announced that they would work together with Kia Germany to open the company’s first flagship dealership there.
On February 23, 2023, at 11 a.m. EST/8 a.m. PST, Kia will hold a live, interactive, and collaborative launch of the new event on the ENGAGE platform to kick off the grand opening of its metaverse-based dealership.
Rewards for participating at events
ENGAGE claims that those who go to the event will be given a virtual tour of the Kia dealership, where they will be able to get a good look at the Kia Sportage SUV. The visitors’ avatars will be taken to a place where they can look around the virtual showroom, see how the Kia workshop works, and ask questions of the people who work there. Attendees will also be able to watch the latest Kia Sportage campaign TV ad and learn more about Kia’s role in a world that is more sustainable and uses more electricity.
David Whelan, CEO and co-founder of ENGAGE, said that the opening of Kia Germany’s flagship dealership in the metaverse shows the versatility of the metaverse and how the car sector can expand its reach virtually. We think this will be the first of many showrooms to open in the metaverse, giving customers even more ways to research and buy a car.
