Polygon and another metaverse news. On Polygon, JennyCo is developing its beta mobile application and token launch.
JennyCo, the first Web3 healthcare data exchange in the world, has chosen Polygon, an Ethereum Layer-2 scaling network, to support its beta mobile application and token launch in the first quarter of 2023.
The exchange intends to utilize Polygon’s blockchain technology to let consumers share and access data and insights, enhance health outcomes, boost personalisation, and lower costs.
Layer-2 scaling solutions, such as Polygon, can enhance the scalability and performance of blockchain networks by allowing transactions to be performed off-chain and batch-validated on the main chain. This can cut transaction fees, reduce friction, and improve the user experience.
JennyCo offers a use case for blockchain technology to facilitate secure data sharing between many parties, as the security and privacy of healthcare data are vital. The decentralised structure of blockchain technology, for instance, eliminates the need for a third party to manage data transactions and distributes power among all trusted players in a platform’s ecosystem, giving them greater choice over how their data is utilized.
By using Polygon as the initial blockchain protocol for its minimum viable product, JennyCo can leverage the security and decentralized characteristics of blockchain technology to build a secure and transparent healthcare data exchange.
JennyCo intends to partner in the future with other networks, such as Constellation Network, to enable cross-chain interoperability. JennyCo is joining the ranks of other global corporations that have chosen Polygon as their Web3 entry point. Notable examples are Starbucks, Mastercard, and Reddit.
“JennyCo is designed to easily integrate with a wide variety of healthcare data, providers, individual clients, and large corporation users. As such, we need to anticipate explosive growth and be prepared to scale accordingly; therefore, Polygon became the obvious initial solution. While our unique company and user requirements dictate our Web 3.0 selection, it’s certainly inspiring to build a community alongside some of the largest consumer brands in the world,” said JennyCo CEO and Co-Founder Dr. Michael Nova.
