The Canadian Blockchain Summit will be attended by iMining Technologies Inc. (TSXV: IMIN) (FSE: P1A), also known as “iMining” or “the Company.” This is a publicly traded company that invests in blockchain technology and the Web3.0 ecosystem. The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of iMining, Mr. Khurram Shroff, will talk about the Web3.0 industry and, more specifically, the opportunities in the Metaverse and the constantly changing regulatory environment for digital real estate. Mr. Shroff won’t be the only business leader on the panel.
The Canadian Blockchain Summit is an exciting event that brings together influential organizations, businesses, and thought leaders to show how the new blockchain and Web3.0 ecosystem is changing the future. The Canadian Blockchain Consortium will put on the first Canadian Blockchain Summit, which will be supported by iMining Technologies and many other businesses and professionals. On October 19th and 20th, the Summit will take place in Calgary, Alberta. This multi-day event will look at important topics like Canada’s changing digital future, cryptocurrencies, the new economy, education and ESG, and the boom in bitcoin mining in Canada.
The top management teams of iMining and its subsidiaries will also be there. Also, iMining will have a lounge area where people can talk to the company’s executives and find out more about it.
The Glenrose Hospital Foundation’s top management will also be at the iMining lounge (“Glenrose”). Glenrose Hospital helps people with illness, injury, or long-term conditions get back on their feet. More than 80,000 people go there every year. Glenrose will show off two NFTs that will be sold at the Summit to raise money for their innovative programs and to keep coming up with new and advanced ways to treat people. The goal is to raise awareness and money for development in the future. The NFTs show art that a young patient at Glenrose made with the help of brain-computer interface technology.
Mr. Khurram Shroff said, “I am thrilled to see the blockchain ecosystem grow in Canada and I’m excited to participate at the Canadian Blockchain Summit as a speaker. Furthermore, iMining has developed a Web3 NFT strategy for the Glenrose Hospital Foundation and we look forward to participating in their fundraising by purchasing the inaugural NFT called Brain Storming painted by Olivia, a 13-year-old patient at Glenrose Hospital.”
Executive Director of the Canadian Blockchain Consortium Koleya Karringten said, “While the traditional economy is moving towards greater digitalization, many research agencies identify blockchain as one of the highest value opportunities and shaping new multi-trillion-dollar economic sectors.”As the premier national industry consortium for blockchain technology, we are pleased to see collaboration between iMining and Glenrose Hospital Foundation, which is also the charitable partner at the Canadian Blockchain Summit. We are also thankful to partners such as iMining for agreeing to purchase the inaugural NFT painted by Olivia to kick-off the fundraising campaign for Glenrose.”
” We’re pleased to once again collaborate with iMining and the Canadian Blockchain Consortium in our fundraising efforts. Events like this offer unique opportunities to demonstrate how technology can help reimagine human ability and to connect with a community of support,”The president and CEO of the Glenrose Hospital Foundation, Mr. Mark Korthuis, said the same thing.
The iMining lounge will also show other popular NFTs, like a bored ape NFT and a Crypto Punk NFT, as well as thought-provoking art by Ms. Leila Pinto, a classically trained New York artist, and Ms. Mandy Stobo, a local artist who is known all over the world.
