New metaverse news related to Hytech. Hytech unveiled its new brand at its first global Dinner & Dance (D&D) event in the metaverse, which surpassed Decentraland’s record for most visits per hour.
Hytech offers management consulting services to fintech companies worldwide. The move brings together teams from many verticals, including as operations, cybersecurity, human resources, data analytics, and app development support, under a single umbrella.
Sara Zhang, Head of Global HR at Hytech, conceived the virtual event, and the launch was disguised as a Christmas party for maximum brand effect. The purpose-built area also featured videos, games, a fortunate draw, and exclusive NFT that could be worn.
More than 980 employees participated in the virtual event, and 3,910 NFTs were redeemed. The visitor influx broke Decentraland’s record for the most visitors in one hour and was one of the day’s most popular activities.
Sara asserts that Hytech’s brand launch was essential for creating a strong sense of belonging among its vast workforce.
“Our operations were very isolated, due to our teams being physically located in different offices around the world. It was essential to create a unified identity for them, so they know they are part of a bigger family with a common purpose and vision that goes beyond their four walls.”
Even the decision to launch the brand in the metaverse was a hint at how hard it is to run a global team. “With our team members working in different markets and time zones, it was difficult to find a suitable time and place to meet. Furthermore, with Hytech’s expertise, our people live and breathe technology and innovation daily.
