Cimu Games to relaunch Runestone Keeper

Cimu Games has announced that it will re-release Runestone Keeper, a game that has sold over a million copies, using Ready Games’ Web3 game development tools. The Web3-enabled beta version of the game, which won Best Gameplay at the 2014 Unity Awards, will be the first of its kind to be released before the end of the first quarter on PC, console, and mobile platforms.

Six games are currently using Ready Games’ Web3 migration platform, and more games, such as Runestone Keeper, are scheduled to join in the first quarter following the full release of Ready’s tech stack. After winning the SlideDb “App of the Year” award in 2015, Runestone Keeper was released to widespread critical acclaim on Nintendo, Playstation, and Xbox.

Cimu Games is well-known for producing high-quality mobile and console games for Web2. The firm Innoteg owns Cimu Games. Its team has determined that Web3 gaming is the industry’s future, thus they will employ Ready’s multi-platform tech stack to enter this quickly increasing market area.

More games are being added to the Web3 platform

Ready Games is creating a community-run game environment. Shared ownership, decentralized decision-making, milestone incentives, cross-game utilities, blockchain technology, and user-generated content based on NFTs all come together in one expanding universe. The end result is a better experience for everyone, including the individuals who create games, play them, and create content.

Cimu Games’ marketing director, Josh Furr, stated, “We are thrilled and honored to be a part of Ready’s family of like-minded Web3 developers. Our goal is not only to bring Runestone Keeper to Ready but to reward players with valuable game assets and a variety of future games and titles.”

Cimu Games is a world-class firm that creates and sells high-quality video games. The company focuses on creating high-end games for specialists as well as mid-level games for casual gamers. Aside from that, it supports publishers with their own creative ideas and transports titles from consoles to mobile devices. Cimu Games has been developing games for over 20 years. They’ve created independent and AAA games, as well as VR experiences. The company also offers a variety of services.

Ready Games COO Christina Macedo stated, “We are thrilled to enable multi-platform games to enter into Web3. Runestone Keeper, with its great history and community, is the ideal game for us to partner with to launch our Web3 gaming development tools across multiple platforms. Together we can reach more gamers worldwide on PC, console, and mobile and further innovate and expand the Web3 gaming experience.”

Cimu Games is creating Chinese AAA titles. The company believes that the most significant aspect of a game is its originality, and that Web3 will be the most important aspect of games in the future. Thanks to the Ready tech stack, Cimu’s Runestone Keeper Gaming will soon be available as a Web3 version for PCs, mobile devices, and game consoles. The beta version of Runestone Keeper will be released in March, followed by the complete version later in the second quarter.
